The Thera Band exercise is a workout featuring an effective body shaping device, a special band of rubber. It can be effectively used to increase strength and stamina as well as for body forming purposes. One of its greatest benefits lies in its flexibility, allowing for a diverse and varied form of exercise. The use of the band can be easily learned. Its benefit over a traditional weight is that it puts more force on the muscles, since the band always counters our movements throughout the cycle of motions – whilst both stretching and releasing. The exercises performed with bands of various resistances can effectively work on problematic body regions – including gluteal, thigh and upper arm muscles.
